Testing will be conducted on the emergency broadcast system on March 29, 2024. Test messages will broadcast to speakers and phones in all buildings at the Ottawa Campus on March 29, 2024, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. There is no action required during this test. 

The audible test message will state the following: THIS IS A TEST OF THE ALGONQUIN COLLEGE EMERGENCY BROADCAST SYSTEM. PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS NOTIFICATION. THIS IS A TEST ONLY. 

During this period, if you hear fire alarms or different emergency broadcasts, you should follow your regular emergency procedures and any instructions that are provided through the emergency broadcast system. Fire alarms or messages other than the testing message should be treated as an actual emergency.
